For walkers, there is the coastal path or strike inland to walk the stunning moorlands of Roughtor, Brown Willy and Bodmin.

The Avalon Hotel accommodation is two minutes from the walkway that leads to Tintagel Castle Island, Castle Beach and Merlin’s Cave. Other attractions just 5 minutes walk away are The Old Post Office, an actual Medieval hall house which was used as a Post Office in Victorian times and King Arthur’s Great Halls where these vast halls tell the wonderful story of King Arthur.
Access to Rocky Valley and St Nectan’s Glen & waterfall are 5 minutes away by car.

Newquay – Further down the coast, Newquay is renowned for its beaches, surfing and nightlife.
Bodmin & St Austell – These old Cornish towns offer a range of attractions, including the Bodmin & Wenford Railway, Llanhydrock House, St. Austell Brewery and The Lost Gardens of Heligan.
The Eden Project – The world famous Eden Project, established in the millennium, is only an hour’s drive from The Avalon.
